Passion To Create Healing Enclaves

At Meera Vanam, Sumeru Realty’s goal was to create an atmosphere that harnesses the healing power of the five elements of nature – warmth, breeze, flavor, sensation, and tranquility – and infuse it into every aspect of the resort’s ambiance, construction, and design.

Our veneration of the five elements is motivated by their inherent link to the five senses and their ability to revitalize both the agitated mind and the fatigued body. We believe that architecture goes beyond physical structures and the environment we are in has a significant impact on our overall well being.

Throughout the construction of the Ayurvedic resort, our motivation remained focused on prioritizing design and construction elements that incorporate the five elements of nature ultimately creating a soothing, calming and rejuvenating experience for the guests.

Geometrical garden for positivity

Our inspiration led us to collaborate with Ayurveda experts to create a garden with specific herb alignments and positions that emit beautiful fragrances, positive energy, and a soothing atmosphere. In our pursuit to create a healing environment, we delved into studying the significance of traditional South Indian style architecture and seamlessly incorporated this knowledge into a modern structure resulting in a design that is both visually stunning and soothing to the senses.

Our team paid very close attention to intricate design work, guiding local artisans to bring even the simplest designs to life in the most artistic manner possible. In addition to that, we constructed several minimalist spaces, such as Kootabalam, a library-cum-yoga room that serves as an ideal space for guests to relax, unwind, and catch up on some reading from the collection.

Furthermore, we meticulously attended to even the smallest details, such as incorporating terracotta tiles or stones in the bathroom to enhance sustainability and imbue guests with a grounding sensation. The combination of these efforts resulted in a truly unique experience for guests seeking not only a place to stay but a place to reenergize, reunite and reconnect with nature.

Sumeru follows a holistic approach to designing and constructing buildings that not only consider the functional needs of the space, but also prioritize the well-being of its occupants and the environment. The construction process emphasizes the use of locally found materials and sustainable practices to ensure that the building is resilient, long-lasting and conserves energy usage.

Furthermore, the design incorporates eco-friendly practices that respect and work with the five elements of nature, including earth, water, fire, air, and space to evoke sattvic vibes. We also draw inspiration from ancient architecture practices, using research and innovation to incorporate them into modern times. Honesty and integrity are key values upheld throughout the construction process, ensuring that the final product is not only beautiful but also ethical and sustainable.

Meera Vanam is a prestigious accommodation of a panchakarma center, boasting an international standard, and it exudes a one-of-a-kind charm with its captivating heritage-style aesthetics. The main attractions included a geometrically crafted ancient-style herbal garden, charming vintage decorations, abundant greenery, and calming natural light. The view from my room was amazing, with the sun rising, clouds moving, and a gentle breeze blowing, and it made all our stress disappear.

Meeravanam 2 impressive the ability to listen, take someone’s vision, and turn it into reality. As a design firm, we always envisioned the work of our firm presented in a certain way and at a certain level of professionalism.
