In the face of the distinctive irregular site profile and varying gradients, the Surataru apartment construction project emerged as an inspiring chance to craft a space that is both innovative and comfortable. Recognizing the potential within this challenge, our focus was directed towards establishing a flawlessly smooth foundation, ensuring optimal utilisation of the limited space with minimal waste. The focus was to design a space that emanates sensations of comfort, revitalization, and tranquillity.
Surataru apartments is located near a popular retreat centre so we were motivated to create a complementary living space that would provide the same sense of serenity, privacy and relaxation. Our vision extended to making Surataru a green living space promoting conscious living through sustainable design that conserves energy and encourages eco-friendly practices among residents.

Constructed in accordance with the Green Building Mandates
Sri Sumeru Realty’s construction of Surataru Apartments stands as a prime example of conventional architecture. All apartments in the complex are Vastu compliant with well-ventilated basements that seem to flow effortlessly into the surrounding landscape. The units have been thoughtfully designed to maximise natural light and ventilation with multiple cut-outs and big bay windows that offer stunning views of the lush greenery outside. A central corridor in Block A further enhances this design element, offering abundant natural illumination and optimal airflow to all units.
Despite limited space constraints, we ingeniously incorporated a mini children’s play area and garden into the apartment. The open kitchen concept, incorporated into all units, further enhances the spacious feel of the apartments. Designed in accordance with Green Building mandates, the building boasts a Sewage Treatment Plant that enables efficient water conservation. In addition to that, the flushing tank on the top floor recycles water contributing to the eco-friendly design. To harness solar energy, solar panels have been installed. The Bay window concept is yet another unique design feature that provides an ideal space for children to play and read, while offering stunning views.
